Observations:
2) The belts supplied by the Chinese are fair. Plan on running them till they break and buying new American made "Gates" belts.
3) A second set of blades is recommended during the order proccess. They consist of a pair. $100.00
4) The manufactures ad claims, "We have designed and manufactured
the chipper as simple as possible. We use common
bearings, belts, and pulleys." That is exactly what it is,
Simple, Strong, and Dependable.
5) It will feed a 6" branch. It uses a flywheel cutter with
two replacable/reversable knives. The shute is
24" wide and the gear feed is spring loaded with a 6 x 9
opening.
It uses a heavy flywheel about 24 inches in diameter that requires a
minimum
15 hp at the PTO.
